Addis Ababa is the best place to visit in Ethiopia for world-renowned Ethiopian jazz musicians, fun Azmari music clubs, great restaurants, the National Museum and our fave the Ethnological museum. After a cool afternoon exploring the city of Addis Ababa, stop at Zoma Museum and enjoy a cool drink while checking out the unusual architecture.

Chebera Churchura National Park is the best place to visit in Ethiopia, to track forest elephants on foot. This newer national park is located in South Western Ethiopia approximately 460 km from Addis Ababa. In addition to elephants, you can also see Cape Buffalo and hippos.

Arba Minch is the best place to visit in Ethiopia and see huge Nile crocodiles in Lake Chamo. Given its location, Arba Minch is not only the gateway to Nechisar National Park but also the Omo Valley.

Sof Omar Caves is the best place to visit in Ethiopia that is rarely visited and off the beaten path, while being stunningly beautiful. These caves set in the East Bale region of Oromia were cut by the flow of the Web river through the local limestone and are some of the longest underground cave systems in Africa. Holqa Sof Omar has an interesting spiritual history and evolutionary history as well. In the area around the Sof Omar caves one can spot rock hyraxes, tortoises, serval cats and dik-dik.

The Omo Valley is the best place to visit in Ethiopia to experience a cultural tour and discover a whole new world. When one travels to the Omo Valley, we go back to a simpler time and get to explore tribes who still live very similarly to their ancient ancestors.
